You can see an actual travel agent or you can talk to someone involved in the tourism industry. You can even consult tour guides that act in lieu of travel agents and all of these would be good ways to proceed. You are looking for someone with a good knowledge of the area you wish to travel to within Canada so that you can get them to recommend a good place for you to stay. Family resorts are all over the place and in general they will provide you with a good experience, but only someone familiar with the area can help you differentiate the good family resorts from the great ones.

Ask about facilities for children, arrangements for food and transportation and anything else that comes to mind as being potentially useful during your upcoming family vacation. Your goal is to get as much information as possible so that you can make an educated decision about which family resort your vacation will take place at.
